Opt In Advertising
It seems this is the new age of advertising, not only are we constantly bombarded by advertising every waking second, but now we’re choosing to watch it. They’ve apparently learnt that if adverts are vaguely interesting we’ll line up to watch it.

This advert is by BMW for their release of a pretty bike, the RV1700. It takes the form of a short lasting roughly 6 minutes and involves a fairly basic plot which is hacked with a machete to make it seem more provocative. Volve are also in on the interwebs advantages of reaching the ever growing “long tail”.
If this is the direction that advertising is taking us then i’m all for it. It doesn’t seem so patronising as “subtly”, plastering Hollywood Movies or paying for phoney articles in magazines.
