Wahey, finally got details of my teaching contract. It’s a short 1 week stint in Austria and another in Roma. The kids are a group of 10-12 yr olds and another of 13 yr olds. Both should be easy.
I’m a little worried about the airport situation however. I think I heard that baggage handlers were striking at Stanstead next weekend. I have quite a blase attitude to security at these dinky little airports, having passed through Stanstead, Gatwick and Luton 8 times these past 3 months.
I’ve had 2 pairs of scissors confiscated from me and surprisingly taken 1 on by accident. I also forgot I had a spliff in my wallet once. Quite absent minded of me. I’m not a pot fiend, but at 6:30 in the morning, how can you remember someone gave you a spliff which you subsequently left in your wallet.
