Webcam Fun | English in Action – Italy
I got my Logitech communicate webcam working in linux. After many years of neglecting webcam support, some frog managed to make the process easier. Here’s the easy take on things.
sudo gedit /etc/apt-get/sources.list
Paste in:
deb http://blognux.free.fr/debian unstable main
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get -y easycam2
Then you just simply open up easycam2 and press install. So easy your grandma can do it.
My first call from Nicola was on Wednesday. By Friday I have the contract in my hands and the tickets booked. I’m leaving on Sunday. I just need to buy some smart clothes (the attire section says no ripped jeans. bummer). Hopefully I can find someones old dusty digicam which they’re about to chuck away and buy it for peanuts.
My third broken camera. Jeannine dropped it on New Years, it was about to break anyway to be honest and I did get it for free.
