She’s off to China on Friday to teach English to some Chinamen. Civilise them, that type of thing. I wish her the best of luck. She promises to send lots of pretty pictures of people – before and after she met them.

i have already spoken to you and subsequently emailed so i don’t really feel like you’ve left yet… sure it will sink in soon. when i start phoning your house and getting all confused when your brother says, yet again, ‘erm… she’s not here at the moment…erm… i’ll take a message or something….might be a while before she gets back to you…’ etc. i hope china is nice and china-y without being too ott. good luck maeve!!
